So, if you are anything like me you are conflicted. I am the first to admit that I love designing for the holidays, but the clutter makes me crazy. I feel like I am always one drop kick away from a Christmas Catastrophe!

As we celebrate the first year anniversary of our local YMCA, I am reminded of the extraordinary importance of community. A place to come together, young and old, of many faiths and ethnic backgrounds, and stages in our lives and celebrate.

Well, if your house is anything like ours, it's been a week of excitement, anticipation, denial, and procrastination (yup at least one of my kids went to class today with just a pencil and a piece of notebook paper. My minimalist!)

Have you ever walked into a room and were blown away by the mix of colors and/or patterns? When done correctly, a mix of patterns makes your room look like it's been designed by a professional.

Father's Day is right around the corner! So we figured, why not celebrate dad with a little Mad Men inspired décor? It's all the rage and he'll appreciate a space that's hip, cool and, most importantly, all his own!
