Originally outdated and inefficient, the home required improved space planning and updated finishes to support a flexible, two-coast lifestyle.Working within the existing small footprint, the design maximizes functionality with a wall-to-wall kitchen and oversized island designed for gathering, entertaining, and everyday living. A former flex space was transformed into a dedicated dining room, while strategic updates throughout the home improved flow and livability.
Layered with vintage finds, meaningful artwork, and rich, comforting color, the interiors reflect an eclectic California bungalow influence adapted for New England living. Named for its soft curves and welcoming spirit, the Scallop House is a warm, personal home designed to embrace both beauty and ease.
